Dr. Teeter to Join Canadian Women’s Lacrosse Team at World Cup in England

Northtowns Orthopedics’ Dr. Jennifer Teeter will accompany the Canadian senior women’s lacrosse team on their quest for gold at the 2017 FIL Rathbones Women’s Lacrosse World Cup. The World Cup event will be held at Surrey Sports Park in Surry, England July 12 – 22, 2017.

Dr. Teeter has served as the official team physician for the women’s team since 2010. She will provide general and sports medicine support to the athletes as they pursue their dream of a World Cup championship.

In the 2013 World Cup, the women’s team earned a silver medal and hopes to build on that and the success of the team’s junior counterparts who captured Canada’s first ever women’s lacrosse gold medal at the 2015 FIL U19 World Championship in Edinburgh, Scotland.
