Williamsville, N.Y. – Robert C Dundon Jr., FNP recently joined Northtowns Orthopedics Group as the organization’s first nurse practitioner. He will perform examinations, and provide patient diagnosis and care instruction at the Group’s Ellicottville, East Amherst, and Williamsville offices.
Dundon brings nearly two decades of experience in patient care to the practice, working at several local hospital’s Emergency Rooms and Medical/Surgical Units, and with Mercy Flight of WNY before joining Northtowns. He holds a Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner degree from D’Youville College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from SUNY Brockport. He achieved his ANCC Nurse Practitioner Board Certification after completing the required coursework in physiology, psychology, advanced assessment techniques, advanced pharmacology, health promotion, and differential diagnosis and disease management.
Dundon is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He resides in Alden.
Founded in 1995, Northtowns Orthopedics provides both general and specialty orthopedic care to patients at nine locations. The practice consists of 11 physicians, many of whom specialize in a particular area of orthopedic medicine, as well as a nurse practitioner, and seven registered physician assistants.
