Northtowns Orthopedics, P.C., accepts cash, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
All new patients must register when they arrive at the office for the first time. At this time, we request that you provide all the information (i.e., referral, insurance card, etc.) necessary for contacting you and your primary physician, as well as for proper processing of your insurance claim.
It is our policy to re-register each returning patient on an annual basis or more frequently if any change in condition or information exists.
To make your appointment as efficient as possible, please download and fill out our Patient Information and History forms prior to your visit.
All our offices offer free, convenient, handicapped-accessible parking.
After your examination, your physician may provide you with prescriptions, instructions or other recommendations, including possible diagnostic testing. You are encouraged to ask questions at any time.
Before you leave, you will receive a “charge slip” detailing the services received during your visit. Your copayment, insurance, and any past due balances will be collected at this time and a receipt will be provided.
Information regarding your next appointment, if necessary, will be provided at that time.
For your convenience, radiographic (X-Ray) services are available at all of our locations.
An effective course of physical therapy is often an important element in the management and rehabilitation of orthopedic disorders. Your physician will refer you to a conveniently located facility that can provide the best care for your specific condition.
If your physician recommends surgery or hospitalization, his/her secretary will make the necessary arrangements for you. After these arrangements have been made, our financial coordinator will meet with you, if necessary, to discuss any questions you may have regarding costs and insurance coverage. Specific information regarding your plan should be obtained from the Member Services representative at your insurance company.
Calls for specific physicians will usually be directed to the physician’s secretary. Please fully explain your problem, concern or question(s) to the secretary so that she may relay the information to the physician and then return a response to you as soon as possible.
Please request prescription refills early in the day, between Monday and Friday, during regular office hours so that the secretary will have an opportunity to contact your physician and pharmacy. Prescription requests made after hours or over the weekend may not be accommodated until normal operating hours on the next business day.
After Hours Coverage:
Our offices are covered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. If you have an emergency after hours, your call will be relayed by an answering service to the physician on call. Your call will be returned as soon as possible. Please be patient and allow time for the physician to respond.
